Training Institute

Every year the Idaho Children's Trust Fund convenes the Strengthening Families Training Institute which brings together practitioners and parents from throughout Idaho to learn best practices from national and local experts, and to share their experiences with each other. Registration opens in December of each year and the Training Institute is held in March.

The keynote address will be from Dr. Beverly Fortson and will highlight the five key strategies identified by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in their technical package for preventing child abuse and neglect.
