Talk about it, Talk about it, Talk about it. That’s one strategy for preventing child abuse and neglect. Because we know there is abuse, our silence is complicity. If we don’t talk about it, it’s easy to deny it. We can make people more aware of what they can do as a neighbor, friend, teacher, child care workers, fellow churchgoer, etc.
While awareness needs to go on every day of the year, the month of April is set aside as Child Abuse Prevention Month. Contact us if you are interested in getting involved.
