Strengthening Families

Preventing Child Abuse before it ever occurs is about building protective factors for our families and communities. Protective factors build on family strengths to create a nurturing environment where children can thrive and are safe.

The Strengthening Families Roundtable meets quarterly in Boise to learn more about the Strengthening Families approach and how to implement SF strategies in your organization or community. Call the Idaho Children’s Trust at 208-386-9317 if you want to get involved.

For more information on the Strengthening Families approach go to the website of the Center for the Study of Social Policy at: http://cssp.org/
